Access to the beach was across the street. It was only a short drive to restaurants. What a wonderful experience we had! From the moment we pulled in, I knew we had booked the right place! The beach is just across the street. The parking is plentiful. You can choose Rooms were a great size and very clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable, there was a nice sized closet, great views from the balcony, and a good breakfast.
So fresh paint, interiors and some of the problems which go with working out the kinks. Royal Palms. Great view. Sleeps 6. Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub not the fanciest pools but 2 to choose from. Close to the pier. Beach in front not overly crowded. Saw dolphins every day. Clear water. Completely remodeled and beautiful. Tile floors except in the 2 bedrooms. The wrap-around balcony provides an amazing view of the coastline. Quiet and peaceful. Nice to visit if you just want the beach.
No amenities Great location within walking distance of all gulf shores hot spots. Great location within walking distance to all of gulf shores and fishing pier. Also close to Walmart, abc, souvenirs, and restaurants. Building does not have many amenities. Multiple restaurants, lodging, beach all at the site, so you don't have to load up car seats and everything around to do things or get dinner.
Kiva Dunes. Paradise Isle Resort. Living room furniture needs updating. While there new mattresses were installed. Convenient to beach and restaurants. Surfside Shores I and II. The condos are clean and well located. We have stayed with two different owners, Melanie Adams and Kim Clatterbuck and both were sensational to deal with. Shoreline Towers. It had very Beachie decor that was tasteful. However the outside did not look as nice.
The parking lot needs to be replaced. Great place with a Beautiful view. Pool had some new pavers going inplace, pool was closed but it was to cold to us to use anyways. Compass Point. Our condo was The condo was nice, just like the pics. The master bath was way too small. The tub and toilet were crammed into a tiny Clean condo. At breakfast just had cold cereal available nothing else asked staff and she said she "didn't feel like cooking today". Whole facility was filthy like no one was doing any routine cleaning or maintenance. What is going on at this hotel?
So much potential with location. Again, this is a dying hotel and I don't see it being around much longer. Cons : Tried to call from desk. I was told the phone was broken so they couldn't hear me. An employee did show up at our door to see what we needed. My husband asked for an extra blanket bc the bed was only equipped with a thin blanket with a sheet on top of it. The employee said that she would check but they probably didn't have any and if she didn't come back it was bc she could not locate a blanket.
She then commented that it was a warm night anyway. Very poor service!!!! Pros : The general location was close to a lot of fun things in Gulf Shores. Cons : The fact that it wasn't very clean really turned me off. The laundry machines were out of order. They ran out of clean towels one day.. Cons : Very poor customer service from start to finish.
After arrival I give my information and they can't find my reservation. Then the clerk answers a phone call and leaves me sitting there for 10 mins while she helps the person on the phone.
They try to send me to another motel that they describe as " not as nice" until I agree to different accommodations than what I booked. Go to the room where there is an overwhelming smell of carpet deodorizer, no towels, and a TV from the 90's with 6 channels. Should've gotten the hint from previous reviews but the price sold me on it. Next time I'll spend a little more and book a better place. Pros : The location was very good, it was close to the beach and not far from main stores. Staff was nice and helpful.
Definitely not clean or neat, it was to late for us to book a different room so we had to settle. Motel 6 Gulf Shores. Dine at restaurants nearby. Amenities include a coin laundry and micro - fridges. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms. Cons : Yes!!!!!!!! When night fall came the termites swarmed to the lights like a plague and it just so happened one light was outside my door. We had to put towels and shoes around the cracks at the bottom of the door between the door and door jam to keep them. Cons : The room was terrible.
The carpet was filthy. The mattress was old ant the furniture looked like it came from a yard sale. Cons : Staff could not find my booking ,they double charged me for my first day there and refused to refund it, room smelled of mildew and floor was dirty. Pros : The location was perfect for family entertainment choices nearby. Cons : For the cost one would think you could at least get a bagel and coffee for breakfast.
There was only coffee. And the towels were paper thin. Pros : It was a great location to the ball fields. The price was great, but you get what you pay for. Cons : The walls are so thin. We heard people snoring all night.

The air cut on and off all night and it is really loud. The bed was so uncomfortable. The shower was more of a mist than a shower. I had to get a cup to wash my hair. Pros : The staff in the front office were very nice and friendly. Cons : The bed was so hard I could not actually sleep on it. The bathroom had a wall mount for a hair dryer but did not have a hair dryer in it. There was no iron or ironing board available. There was not even a chair at the desk to sit anywhere. Pros : Friendly staff and good location for price. Close to everything. Cons : Hotel isn't going to be the nice and biggest place to stay at but it's perfect for the price.
My wife and I wanted to go on a weekend getaway and were more than pleased with the room. Bed was extremely comfortable, AC was good and cold. Pros : The king bed was really comfortable! Also, the room was very dim, one of the lamps didnt work Nd the ceiling light didnt put off much light, made getting ready very difficult. Pros : Loved that this hotel was so close to the beach! Facility was clean. Cons : A bit dated not a big deal and didn't effect our stay. The floor are tile which made sand a big issue of course being near the beach im not sure carpet would be better. Cons : It is not in the beach you have to cross the highway to get to it. The rooms are in desperate need of remodeling and the hole place is run down.

Cons : Upon arriving we went to our room, kicked off our shoes and chilled for a bit, I had to go use the restroom, there was no toilet paper to be found, my husband picks up the phone to call the front desk and no dial tone, so he had to go back down to the front desk and get a roll, then we see they didn't stock towels and the bottom of our feet from walking around in the room are now black.
The only thing housekeeping did to our room was make the bed and the coverlet was either stained or dirty. We paid good money to get a room at this time of year, but I'm telling you here and now,we will never stay at this hotel again. Cons : Poor smell, not fast hot water-only after 20 minutes, not very good breakfast. Pros : The place needs to be remodeled BAD!
The pictures on the website are false advertisement. Cons : Location to the beach was good. My advice would be to drive down and pick out a motel room instead of renting over the interstate. Cons : The staff weren't that friendly.

The ice cream shop didnt open until 3 and we had a wedding and count go to it. Then checked out at 11 an didnt get a chance to get ice cream. Red Roof Inn Gulf Shores. Thrill on exciting water rides and splash in refreshing wave pools at Waterville USA water park or race around The Track, a high-speed go-kart track and amusement park. Broken towel bar in bathroom taped flimsily, broke and dropped all towels on the bathroom floor.
