Amazon provides free shipping to Singapore! - Part 3
Their shipping and product prices are very competitive. An alternative is VitaCost, but I personally prefer iHerb. It's so cheap that I don't think it's worth bundling up with other shipments. There is a good chance the forwarding will be more expensive because of the bulk if you buy in quantity like I do. Also, the last time I tried to forward a package, which the service mistakenly marked as 'pills', it ended up stuck in customs for inspection.

Can you name some of these sellers that have Kindles in stock? I think I saw one shop in Funan months ago. I have bought products from amazon both directly and using Vpost. Some products don't ship outside the US, that's when you need to use Vpost. IMO Vpost is a little costly, especially after insurance, but the product usually arrives after a week. I bought a Gelato maker last year from Amazon Lello and had it shipped direct to my workplace.
The box was huge and it weighed about kgs. Took 12 days using their Expedited International Shipping service.
Amazon no longer offers free shipping to Singapore - pynuzuzyvogu.cf
All the time through Borderlinx. Check out their exclusions though cause they've given me issues with those sometimes. I have shipped both directly from Amazon and via Comgateway as well as through their rebranded borderlessbuys. In the earlier days of Comgateway, about years back, it was really horrible — late and lost packages — but they seemed to have gotten their act together the last few times I've used them in Have shipped electronic devices, clothing, exercise equipment, stationary, etc.
It should be cheaper to ship through a third party like Comgateway instead of Amazon, especially when you are buying more items. Comgateway lets you consolidate them into a single shipment where possible to reduce shipping fees. If you only have 1 item and Amazon ships it to Singapore and you might never do this again, just use Amazon and get it over with. Just got stuff shipped in december. Did we just play something you got shipped yesterday?

I haven't shipped anything and I have no clue who you are? Just want to see people's experiences with online shopping. Other than vitamins and groceries, I forward most of my shopping through comGateway. You are usually able to track your packages all the way from the retailer to the forwarder to Singapore, which is reassuring. Most direct shipments to Sg from the retailer do not include tracking.
The problem with forwarding packages is that some retailers especially Amazon might pack your items in an oversized box with lots of padding. So there is a chance you might end up paying to ship a mostly empty box. Just keep this in mind. DHL with comGateway lost one of my packages a year ago. Had to fill out a form etc, but was eventually reimbursed. They do, but they only offer the option if the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight by an amount large enough to justify the repacking cost its not free. From my experience, they just remove the excess packing material and cut the box down to size.
Best to avoid such shipments when forwarding stuff. You can find people in the mass order area of hardwarezone forums who can help you with shipping from Amazon, it should be cheaper than shipping it yourself. No experience, but just wanted to chip in and say thanks for asking this question op.
Was always something on my mind. I intended to purchase CDs and Blu-rays from Amazon too, but was worried about it! Do not use any shipping service that sends via Singpost. Singpost will not re-deliver.
Pickup times are standard business hours, which are also your working hours. Oh, and they lose packages.
